Great value hostel, I visited in the summer and was given my own room for the price of a shared room due to low occupancy during the summer season. Even if I had to sleep in a bunk bed, it would be a great price for area. Quaint village with an amazing view from the (albeit shared) balcony and a wonderful host. Bus twice hourly to leave from the village in either (north or south) direction. Great priced location to see saas-fee or Zermatt. Zermatt is only one bus train ride away (maybe about an hour and a half including both, bus to Stalden bahnhof then a train to zermatt).

Great host, location and accomodation.
Very good value for the price. Well located, close to Saas Fee with nice view over the valley. Rooms tidy and clean, some with bathrooms, some not. The owner is very friendly and dedicated to the business. NOTE: the route uphill is marked as no-access, apparently this doesn't apply to the guests.

Rene was a fantastic host and very helpful. He responded to all our questions and made us feel at home. It takes about 25 minutes by bus (you receive a pass to make the bus free) to get to Saas Fee and 10 minutes to get to Saas Grund. Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable option close to the ski fields.
Very friendly guy in charge was a wonderful place not done yet but I love it so much that I'm already writing the review
