The Abbatiale de Romainmôtier (Romainmôtier Priory) is a great a hiking destination. The Abbey Church is impressive and a very cool / refreshing place to visit on a hot spring / summer day. It's insane how this imposing church was built ages ago in the middle of nowhere. I once a saw a classical concert there and even though I prefer contemporary music, the performance was extremely moving. I wish they would use this incredible ancient building for modern and acoustic concerts.

It's one of the oldest church in Switzerland, with amazing architecture and a long history, which was great. A small village surrounded the church. Farms are nearby. It's also a great hiking destination.

magnifica abbazia romanica, rimasta praticamente intatta attraverso i secoli.
