Excellent lunch for 2. the Taste was very good. Special the Food. We used the Prozentbuch. Thank you to Sophie for her excellent Service. We had the chateaubriand. It was amazingly delicious. The service was very good and we would be happy to go back there again. Good service If a little slow by UK standards.

Perfect place for a team dinner with 23 people. The food was great despite the numbers of guests to be served at the same time.
Delicious food and great service.
Excellent Service. Fantastic food! Friendly staff! Go and reserve a table in advance.
that night i decide to go to safran and drop my forst idea to eat at michelin resto in basel. the result is magnificent! this resto is set on the heritage building. Starting with beef tartare which i never get such a very good one like in this restaurant. secondly we order lamb rack which was very rich as well as its grilled vegetables. Superb! Another dish was entrecote with brown stock which i normally don’t like it but last night was amazing. waitres didn’t speak english but she tried her best to explain it well and i really appreciate her helps. we had an interesting swiss wine as well.
Enjoyed a fabulous Chateaubriand with my wife. Excellent presentation, thoroughly tasty, and very generous proportion. I could only manage a sorbet for dessert. Only slight criticism is the the portion of sorbet was rather stingy. Our event included some 120 ersons for lunch, plus a table for 12 children. The food was excellent, as were the wines, included at a reasonable price.
Safran Zunft stands for Swiss Fine Dining and it's a very nice and pleasant experience. Rich wine card, aggregated menu card with quite a diversity and variation of tastes. Our event included some 120 ersons for lunch, plus a table for 12 children. The food was excellent, as were the wines, included at a reasonable price. Service was efficient and flexible,
We really enjoyed our first visit to Mahabharat. We ordered drinks and were shown to our table upstairs which was lucky, the second level was a little quieter which suited us. The building itself is an unusual setting being and old church Overall a good experience in a unusual building/chapel, staff can't do enough to please, good choice of dishes and food served hot and good portion sizes, good idea to book table downstairs if you have mobility issues as some tables up stairs on balcony
