No idea how this place is still allowed to operate during the Covid-19 pandemic. The only place where markers on the floor help to keep distance are in the (long) waiting line to get in, but no one bothers to respect them. The bath itself is super crowded and no one pays attention to keep even a little bit of distance. No one pays attention to the theoretical maximum number of people per swimming pool, people just walk in and no staff would intervene.

This was a really amazing water park and I love the jungle theme they have right now! They have a lot of slides and the facility is in great condition! I highly recommend for all ages! The entrance price is expensive but you get a lot for it, and food is also pricey. For the rest; amazing water park!

COVID measures are close to none. The time slots are made to not collapse the installations of people but not to have less people, so business as usual. In 4h hours only there was 1 announcement of maintaining the distances on the sound system. No one from the staff of Alpamare besides at the waves pool, is checking if people are maintaining the cues and the separation measures while waiting to go on the slide runs. Changing rooms B and C are very very old, showers for 10 people at once, almost no water pressure, hairdryers if they are not 25 years old are either broken or not working. People definitely not maintaining any measures at all any where in the facilities. 1 adult entry 1 kid for 78fr entrance is definitely way too expensive for the installations conditions you get besides with COVID or not. Alpamare is an institution and very popular in Switzerland, but definitely should consider to renew the installations.

Although the installations look a bit \old fashioned\ and the theming is very cheap, the water park itself it is great. It has a big variety of slides, most of them with outdoor areas (which is a huge surprise in winter). Some of the slides are \death-defying\, and by that I mean not only that they are very old, but also that you really crash violently against the walls or even almost fly away in some parts... but.... we love that! Thrilling sensations at its most. The rapid river has different \speeds\, and I guarantee the high speed is a really an almost-drowning-experience that you have to visit if you like thrilling emotions. BTW make sure you know how to swim. A very BAD point is the restaurant, it is extremely expensive for the products it offers. I would recommend the owner Aspro Ocio to relax a bit with the prices.

Very cool water park with a warm-water pool and pool fills in frozing water. There are also a waves pool. Very good and i'll go back there in the future!

Not up to Swiss standards - A waste of money. This park is outdated and needs a good renovation. You can tell when going to the outside pools where tiles are cracked or missing and generally the cleanliness is a joke. Covid measures are a joke too- the signages on the floor and walls look like they were hastily put up at the beginning of the pandemic and are still there - seriously, by now you could have made some improvements there. We were there last night and when we wanted to go to the wave pool, we were asked to leave because it was reserved for swimming lessons - my money is not worth the same here I guess ? Then, they close the slides 2 hours (!) before closing time - again , why? This is the highest entry price of all the baths we’ve been to, and the lowest quality. And even then, they dare to ask more money to enter the sauna/steam room area. (?!). It was hard to find a person to talk to, and even had to leave the pool, to go to the reception to find a person who clearly was not trained to deal with customer complaints as the only thing she could do was smile and defend her points instead of acknowledging my concerns or get a colleague who would be able to deal with it. Very disappointing experience overall and will for sure choose any of the other baths over this one next time.

Quite a few large slides here. Some of them way faster than I expected. Nice mix between body slides and tube slides. Our favourite was the alpabob, crazy rapids..a wild adventure. Outside there is a cool pool that has an extreme current around the outside, basically a lazy river with no tubes! Outside there is also a Brine Thermal Bath, which is perfect to relax as visiting Switzerland you tend to do a lot of walking.
