I have ordered a Volvo V60 Recharge, as I wanted to move towards electrical powered cars. The dealer in Thalwil, Switzerland assured me throughout the process that is very easy to recharge it at home, just plug it in the socket. I requested that he'd offer me assistance to research if it is possible to charge at home, but he said he can only do it after the contract is signed. I signed the contract, but after that it turns out that to install a charger at home is very complicated in Switzerland, you need the vote of the owners association and the blessing of the Verwaltung. I tried to contact my dealer again to request assistance but he dodged me so far. I am very disappointed by this behavior as I would have thought Volvo's mission is to help customers switch to the future of automotive industry, and not be tricked into signing the contract and then be left on their own. So bottom line is , if you are considering a plug-in hybrid or full electrical, talk first to your Verwaltung .

Fantastic service, friendly and professional! I bought a XC90 one month ago from another dealer and had a \plastic noise\ they could not fix, very annoying. I came here and they fixed it in 2 minutes sharp! From now on I will only rely on this Volvo center for all I need and all the future accessories I'm planning to purchase.

Knowledgeable salesman, speaking very good English (well yeah, turned out he's American :), did not offer test drive though... Overall recommendable

Great garage, excellent service and staff.
Ich habe zwar ein Schweizer Auto, wohne in Warnemünde und komme regelmäßig zur Inspektion in die Schweiz nach Thalwil. Diese Garage kann ich nur weiterempfehlen und das mache ich schon seit 6 Jahren. Alle im Team sind Spitze und zwar von oben bis unten (vom Chef bis zum Mech).
