Right in the hear of Zurich, very small but very nice botanical garden. You can find there everything from bamboo to clementines growing on the tree. It has a little pond with water-lizards, a green house with some rare plants and a big section with various edible herbs and vegetables. Good place for a little Sunday walk.

Nice place to cool down during lunch break
It might not be a true botanical garden, but its beautiful. A nice green space in the city center. I place to away, even for a few moments, and enjoy some natural beauty and greenery in the midst of all the concrete and buildings. There are some very nice/cool pathes/trails. There is a beautiful glass structure with plants inside such as cactus and some other desert/tropical plants. It's only open during the spring and summer. A must see ! Please see photos also.
Small botanical garden on a slight gradient/hill near the city centre. Visited it during autumn and loved the trees shedding golden leaves. Worth visiting and enjoying the scenery.

Really nice place to take a walk!
Free entry, open daily but time varies by time of year. Free public toilets. The gardens don't look well maintained. Perhaps they are attempting a natural look but numerous weeds, overgrown and dead plants. However, many quiet places to read and/or reflect. Signage does not include English.
