Good beer (I like the rouge!) and love the open days with the entertainment and great vibe.

Great local brewery with some good tasting beer. Very sympathetic owner who knows his trade.

Brasserie Cap'taine Mousse is a relatively large production brewery in Nyon, which produces a very nice variety of decent bottled beers. They do not have a tasting room, but its doors are open for bottle sales, which will be handled by the hard-working brewery staff. The brewery occupies the tall, ground-level corner of a modern, 3-story grey building with yellow trim. There is no dedicated space for parking, but you can pull right up to the brewery, and you'll see their sign on the glass entrance door. Outside are stacks of wooden pallets and an impressive stainless steel grain silo. Inside is a cramped brewery with a red concrete floor and a central, 3-sided walk-up wooden-slat bar with a shiny steel top. They have a couple steel tap towers, which perhaps they use on special occasions. Behind the bar are midsize stainless steel fermenters, and back on the left are large steel brewing vessles. Overhead is a steel mezzanine level for storage, and the exposed ceiling has conduits and pipes running among the vessels. On the left are stacks of grain and their large bottling line. It is an impressive operation. I tried a few of their beers, and my favorite was the Fantaisie Ale.
