Food tastes exactly as what you'd expect in heavy touristy spots like this. Sub-par and expensive. The views are simply spectacular though. The outer part of the restaurant is set on a revolving stage ensuring that you get a full panorama of the swiss alps. Expect the service to be on the slower side as it gets very busy here. The overall experience is still great given the ambience.

Made reservations. Sat down. Spent an entire 360 loop trying to get a servers attention or simply even acknowledged by a staff member. We were unsuccessful, then just gave up and left, frustrated. I'm not exaggerating. It was comical. Fun fact: it takes 45 minutes to do a full circle. At least the view was nice. Consider eating a meal on one of the great patios in Murren instead. It ended up being a blessing in disguise for us. The mountains look very impressive and bigger down a little lower.
We booked James Bond brunch - Aktion (62CHF per person with Halb Tax) incl of Return trip from Stechelberg to Schilthorn. It’s incredible deal and very good value for money. Brunch buffet was really good with a lot of options (soups, salad, hot dish) and drinks included (also Prosecco). Restaurant offers amazing view and turning around makes unforgettable experience.

We had smoked salmon rosti and burger for lunch. Good quality is ok, abit salty for Asian taste. Food price is slightly expensive but acceptable. You can come to this place for free if you are holding swiss travel pass, the mountain view is amazing when the weather is good.
19th of August 2020 We had a lovely time..The reception / desk staff (Lady- I forgot her name) was very friendly . Also a BIG THANK YOU to staff DAVIDE M, who really looked after us during our time in this restaurant.. Wonderful experience indeed!!
If you're lucky, clear sky, the view are so beautiful, the restaurant food is also pretty good.
Just under 3000m sbove sea level, it is obvious why this was chosen as a venue for a revolving restaurant (and James Bond movie set). The view of the surrounding Bernese Oberland mountains is completely spectacular on a clear day. The Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Breithorn and Wengen with the Männlichen Thun and its lake are all easily seen (among many others) as you sit in the Solar powered revolving restaurant. If you walk up from Mürren, as we do, you will well deserve the food and drinks, which are well priced compared with other huts and mountain restaurants in the area. The cable car will whisk you up to the top, safely and rapidly, though not cheaply. We love the choice of ice cream Sundaes.
