Eventough it was widely advertised as part of the Art Weekend Zurich, this museum decided to leave visitors to go out of their way to the museum's location just to be told entrance was not free. The staff was very attentive, though. And apologized profoundly. Nice garden.

We share the love for Japan. Wishing a re-opening soon!
After going to the national museum I think this one is better. So many pieces to view and they even let you into the storage area. The special exhibit mirrors was interesting and easy to follow even in English with the provided guidebook. The entrance fee of 25 CHF is standard for Switzerland. Come visit and enjoy this contemporary museum.
rich collection perfectly presented . even if one knows little or cares just a bit about Asian art and culture this place is enriching and very very impressive
A grand estate converted to house a plethora of archeological finds (with more masks than you can shake a head at) from around the world. The collections are extensive, especially the Chinese porcelains. Museum Rietberg is like a big old tree. Grand on the surface that has deep roots. The roots analogous to the many exhibition rooms located on the lower floors. There are so many examples in each of the rooms, it can feel overwhelming. Still, there is a great place to relax if you feel the need. The cafe opposite the ticket office has a fine collection too, of cakes and hot drinks.
The Rietberg Museum) is a museum in Zurich, Switzerland, that displays Asian, African, American and Oceanian art. The museum was established in 1952.
Good examples of non western art & artefacts with a contemporary twist.
Would surely wanna come back. A museum in a park.
