My third son was born at La Tour this week - excellent experience both with labours and after-care. Really professional team of mid-wives makes every moment special and mother and baby supported in every step. The personnel is exceptional - so helpful and delicate, we felt well cared all the time but also had enough privacy and space to establish our own rhythm. My older kids were born at the different private clinic in Geneva so I can compare - I am really happy I chose La Tour this time due to its focus on natural and balanced support of mother and child.

I can’t begin to describe how wonderful the staff including the Doctors and Nurses ...and all other’s concerned we’re so kind, comforting and competent after my husband had a heart attack and had to have an emergency procedure. If it hadn’t been for the comforting words of the doctors and other staff I know I would have lost it! They continually called me at home to inform me of my husband’s condition, even though I too was able to call as they had allowed me to do in these times of Covid. Thank you to such caring and amazing staff!

Hôpital de la Tour is a medical facility that offers excellent medical care with state of the art equipment and humane, compassionate, empathetic care to each patient. All medical and other personnel are attentive to the patients’ needs and are kind and civil amongst each other. I have always been treated with great respect and kindness by all, and as a person with a chronic illness, I really appreciate this especially when arriving in the middle of the night often in difficult conditions. The ambiance in the emergency unit, the ICU and the other medical units is always pleasant and calm. The Doctors and nurses make sure I receive the best possible treatment. The best hospital facility of the region and far beyond.

I had my second child at Hopital de la Tour and my experience was fantastic! The delivery room was very nice and atmosphere was very calm. I was considered a high risk birth due to having a c-section with my first child, but my doctor and the midwife were amazing and incredibly reassuring during my labour. I stayed for 4 nights in a beautiful room with a lovely view of the Jura and had excellent attention and support from the midwives and nurses at all times. I also really appreciated the regular check-ins from my doctor. An additional and unexpected bonus was the check-in from the Osteopath for my baby as well as the Lactation specialist (the same midwife who assisted with the birth, and after followed me post-natal). The small touches such as having Clarins bathroom products was really appreciated and the meals were great. My first child was delivered at another clinic in Geneva, and based on my experience of the two, I would highly recommend Hopital de La Tour and would choose La Tour again. Thank you to everyone at Hopital de La Tour for your attention, support and making my stay a great experience.

Had a great experience recently for the birth of my child. Staff were excellent and attentive. Meals were of a high standard for a swiss hospital and the room was excellent. Highly recommended. Most staff speak English.

I took my 1.5 yr old daughter yesterday evening around 19:00 in emergency. The staff was very helpful and effecient. We met the doctor just 5-10 mins after we arrived there. The entire staff seem to speak English as well.

Very happy of the maternity services at La Tour. Very professional staff, high expertise and it’s great to have one trusted place for all our needs (urgences pediatriques, maternity, exams, etc)

Took my child with a fever there in the morning. After signing in waited for 2 hours to see a doctor, while other patients came and went. When I asked the receptionist when would be our turn, she just chuckled and said you have to wait because we have emergencies. When I asked how long she just waved me off. Anyone who's had a 2 year old with a fever knows how hard it is to keep them waiting somewhere outside without food or any clear indication how long the wait would last. The receptionists were rude and the hospital had no clear policy how to treat children who fell between emergency and routine care.
