Good Tunnel in Summer and Winter. Lights and speed limit are making the drive Safe.

This tunnel is the main road connection between South and North in this sector of Alps. It is not so modern as other tunnels in the region (for example the Bregenzer tunnel in Austria), nor so long (for example, the Gotthard tunnel, a few tens of kms to the west, still in Switzerland). But it is well kept, and with good services on both its gates. It is nice to note the Tessin river, on the way up from South, and the Rhein river, on the way up from North. It is for free, as all tunnels in Switzerland. Its fee is included into the price of the yearly motorway Swiss sticker, 40 Chf.
Nice clean and fast tunnel from north to south and reverse. I like to drive this galeria.
Nature's a must. Prices follow the altitude.

Um tunel rodoviário com cerca de 6,5 kms de extensão o qual liga o Cantão de Graubunden ao Cantão do Ticino, na linda região de San Bernardino!
Gut zu fahrender Tunnel in dem man sich sicher fühlt. Mit dem Motorrad macht der Pass natürlich deutlich mehr Spaß.
