It was a very well laid out museum. Nice gift shop and cafe’ but the highlight is the dogs. You will want to take one home but a bit too big to sneak out in your bag. A wonderful place for individuals of all ages but there is a fantastic play are for children and families.

This place is the cutest thing ever! First you start with the 2nd floor and you can learn the history of Saint Bernard and pass that is to be a hospice for many people. On the 3rd floor you can learn about family and how they came about Barryland. Back to the main floor is where you can see the puppies. During our visit we are able to play with a two and a half year old St Bernard. I still call it a puppy but the dog is huge! Also on the floor is the Gift Shop full of mini Saint Bernard items and some liquor as well :-) There's a cafe that you can sit back and sip on some coffee while looking at the amphitheater ruins outside of the window.

It is a nice place to visit with children. I'm not fan of dog but they are so cute

If you like dogs, or you have children, or you are interested in history of this breed in Switzerland then this museum is for you. I liked it because I like pets and I could watch them but there was nothing more interesting for me except dogs.

Unfortunately we can't pet or touch the dogs due to Covid. But the staff is very friendly and our daughter surely had fun.

Nice place to see the dogs. Fairly pricey but worth it if you are keen on dogs. Good café and large museum space.

A museum dedicated to the legacy of the breed St. Barnard and their contribution to the culture of Switzerland. The facility has a lot of pictures, tableau, portraits and other items which educate you about the St. Barnards. It is a fulfilling and enriching experience. The highlight of the entire visit is of course the St. Barnards housed in the facility itself, which are available for ptting and feeding. Overall, the experience is very nice.
