This church looks nothing like a church from the outside, only the ornate feature over the door way gives something away, that inside could be interesting, set in one of the busiest streets in Lugano, step in and have a look.
This church, located in Via Nassa, was built in the seventeenth century and has a beautiful baroque portal. Inside, two vaults and Corinthian pilasters along the walls. On the triumphal arch, you can see two angels representing prestigious stucco, and in the center, a painting of the patron saint. On the cross vault of the chancel is an Apotheosis of St. Charles Borromeo, surrounded by stucco decorations. The statue of the Virgin on the marble altar dating from the eighteenth century. The altar framed with stucco angels has a beautiful painting, which can be attributed to G. A. Pettrini and represents the Handover to St. Peter (1730). In a side chapel is a paiting of the \Pietà\ (seventeenth century). The facade of the church was restored in 2001. Inside is also a Via Crucis in bronze of sculptor Nag Arnoldi. (Ticino.ch)

Muy muy sencilla. El altar con el pequeño santo y algunas decoraciones en las blancas paredes. Sobre el altar mayor un cuadro.
Chiesetta davvero graziosa, situata in Via Nassa, centralissima zona pedonale di Lugano. Merita una visita, in quanto ricca di arte. Ottimamente preservata e molto intima. Eccezionale ed unica l'esposizione (per un breve tempo) del: \San Francesco in meditazione\ del Merisi (Caravaggio) che impreziosisce ed incanta.
Всё тут хорошо, чудесно и замечательно! Хоть это и \Итальянская\ Швейцария, но это в полной мере Швейцария.
