Good idea to turn a barn into a restaurant. It was difficult to find but we finally found it. The Christmas decoration was nice and food was excellent. They use very good quality ingredients and each dish is lovingly decorated. Good and attentive service. However the waiter was a bit uncomfortable towards a woman and prefered to look during explanations mostly to my partner.This may have something to do with the peasant character of the restaurant like converted barn, the name etc

Really good restaurant. They have a new menu every month with foods which are just wonderful. The chef is a master in combining seemingly banal ingredients in to creating mouthwatering dishes. They pair the dishes wonderfully with a selection of local wines. The service is impeccable. If you are in Bern do not hesitate to eat at Haberbüni as you will not regret it. Really recommend the month's menu, as whenever I was there it was just spectacular. Do remember to make a reservation as it is almost always full. Prices are also ok.

On the 31st of December we turned up at 18:45 for our 19:00 reserved \Silvestermenu 2016\ and for what turned out to be a night to remember. Our table was not the best in the house as we were forewarned of other guests arrival by a short burst of cold air from outside, but luckily everyone had arrived by 19:30 and we could settle down to enjoy our 7 course meal with wine accompaniment. Each course was wonderful, well presented and carefully explained by the attentive service personnel. Our favourite? The Filet steak main course which was heavenly tender and just melted in the mouth.

One of the nicesest places I know. The food is very good. You usually get one menu (6 courses) with meat or vegetarian options. The staff is relly knowledgeable and friendly. I can recomend this place to anybody who likes good food in a very relaxed atmosphere.
