Enjoy local specialties in this cozy, rustic restaurant in the center of Leysin. True to their name, they actually make their own cheese (twice a week). There is a great selection of cheese dishes (such as fondue, Raclette, and cheese toast) as well as steaks and salads. Upstairs is a small museum dedicated to historic farming and craft tools. Reservation recommended as it can get crowded.

Great food. I had an amazing steak. They have the best salad dressing in the world. We always buy a bottle of it to take away. There is a great museum upstairs which is fun to look at. Definitely worth taking family or friends for an evening meal.
A lot of cheese types. Very very tasty fondue! The owner told us that they make their own cheese. The place has a little museum with tools, clothes and other pieces of pass centuries.
Very warm and Nice interior. Welcoming owner, very good service from our young Sicilian lady. Very good food and on some weekdays special offers ! A place to visit ... 30 minutes from Montreux in the middle of the Alps.

Not only the food delicious but they also offer you an amazing experience of witnessing the making of a typical cheese. Service is excellent. The place is quite popular so be sure you book a table in advance. For those who are not big cheese fans tried to fondue Bacchus. It is amazing !
Food is excellent but going there in a Saturday evening is a nightmare! They had our reservation confused (apparently they forgot to note down or name?!?) Receiving food or getting someone to whom we could order took quite some time. Otherwise the food is absolutely amazing
