It is a really amazing place, a paradise for people who are into hiking. A funicular will take you up the hill and if you want to go all the way to the lake then you will have to catch a \slow\ panoramic train (on a cloudless day you can spot Mont Blanc for instance). Breathtaking landscapes. Quite close to the French border. An awesome place to visit.

Great experience of mountains and water. If you're a good driver you can use your car but much better is to take the train from Martigny, the funicular from le Châtelard and then the little train which runs on the edge of the abyss. You can walk than around the lake and climb to the old dam and serve a refreshment with a magnificent view. After that go and search the dinosaur traces in a close location.
Delightful place to visit, an easy day trip from Chamonix, yet not crowded at all.
Spent very nice time with my family. We loved the views which are breathtaking. The restaurant at the top serves good and delicious food although a bit expensive. Recommended for bikers / hikers / photographers/ and everyone who would love to get to high level in the mountains and enjoy the view of nature as well as the beautiful dam

We really liked that place, due to amazing views and nice train rides. There were lots of people, but most of them with masks, so we felt save. Would recommended it
Magnificent panoramas ..will recommend to take funicular, train and mini funicular to go to the top.. Amazing views .. great value for the price .. worth visiting .. Had great day together with family.
