I saw miso soup advertised outside so I went in to ask for one. I was told 18 francs for a hot dish. I replied I only want miso soup and the young man repeated 18 francs for a hot dish. I asked if he meant 18 francs for miso soup and he repeated for the third time 18 francs. Puzzled, I decided to leave but decided to check with this rather unhelpful young man, so I asked if he meant 2 soups would be 36 francs. All hot plates are 18 francs he answered. My friends and I will not be back!! Extremely expensive for a carryout soup, even if it has some bits in it ..... but I can’t tell as it wasn’t explained.

Tasty miso Ramen broth with ingredients and toppings. Nice deco, quick and friendly service. Sushi Zen is not the local typical genuine restaurant but they make the job. Gochiso sama deshita.

My buddy and I arrived here for his graduation and were pleased that there have been a lot of great tables to choose from whenever we showed up. If you want delightful food that wont break your budget, this place is ideal for a special supper without the big bill at the end. My brother and I really enjoyed the wide range of desserts and will be coming back again for a particular treat. The personnel here are cheerful and generally offer to help my brother choose what to eat! We are now regulars. We really want to thank the personnel to make my brother's birthday so wonderful.

If only I can give half a star. I'm more of a traditionalist on my food. This is semi traditional & traditional at the same time. My review is on the tonkotsu ramen. Let me begin although it was busy, I was able to sit relatively shortly. The staff were wonderful to accommodate and spoke English. 5 stars on customer service because its not too common to get a friendly customer service in Switzerland. The ramen itself. I love tonkotsu ramen for its rich, milky, and creamy broth (without the actually milk). It probably is one of the unhealthiest dishes because of the creamy fat content, but once in awhile it's fair to treat yourself. Sushizen Grancy version is much lighter. The broth is lighter and less intense but still full of flavor. The noodles cooked perfectly al dente! The toppings - while authentic some were lacking in flavor. Sadly they didn't have the pork chashu so I opted for the chicken. It's chicken breast that has been slow cooking or sous vide for an absolutely long time. It had an intense chicken flavor, but no taste of the dark soy and sweetness that I look forward to in a chashu. While the ramen was good - but come in with an open mind knowing that it's slightly different from the traditional ramen. Overall 3.5 stars from me.

Food is good, but don’t come here if you are in the mood for sushi, as it is only on their starter menu and is limited selection (2-4) different types.

Tried their tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen. It was great and the service was excellent.

very good porc ramen, you can find better in geneva, but in lausanne it’s one of the best
