"It is a global, not-for-profit organisation for 18 to 40 year olds, run by its members for its members. JCI’s mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. JCI members are from many different backgrounds, cultures and professions, but all share common values and passion to develop themselves and support and improve their communities."​ What is JCI Ouest Lausannois? As JCI Ouest Lausannois (JCI OL), the West Lausanne branch of the large JCI community, we are a group of young active citizens who realize projects in the region to support the development of local entrepreneurs and startuppers. What do we do? Currrently, JCI OL realizes monthly coaching sessions for entrepreneurs to help them with particular problems in their organization. Moreover, we organize networking events where we bring together talented people to be part of the synergy creation among entrepreneurs of the region. Additionally, JCI OL works with The Butterfly Help Project, a non-profit association which supports education and development in the isolated villages of Himalayas in Nepal. What do we need? We need energy, motivation and ideas. That's why we are constantly looking for individuals who would like to make a positive change in their environement by applying and developing skills in entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, business, project management, networking. But most importantly, be part of the family and have fun doing.
