A monument dedicated to servicemen who died during WWI. We parked at the foot of the hill and walked up the path. Lovely in the spring weather. Beautiful view of the fields and mountains afar. Seems popular with cyclists too.
A very nice place for great views of the area, and as a starting or ending point of hikes. Consider hiking south to get to Pfannenstiel and the observation tower, or go north to make your way towards Zürich and descend through one of the pretty "Tobels" (gulches) along a creek towards Lake Zurich.
Nice view point .. and many possiblity for walk in the forest over there...
World war 1 monument and this a good recreational place in outskirts of Zürich
Great view from up here, but the monument itself is nothing you would come here just for its own sake.
