Food was nothing short but amazing! Very friendly service and reasonable pricing. Try the apple pie for desert, its delicious. Will definitely visit again!
Friendly welcome, nice people, and ambience. All fine until the food arrived. I had the Governor's Skewer - and at 50CHF - was expecting something special. Alas, 3 smallish pieces of limp beef, not even really hot...and 3 tasteless prawns. 3 ramekins of equally uninspriring sauces that did little to enliven the food. I wish I'd ordered a plain steak. My colleagues had burgers which were also pretty ordinary, honestly I cook better at home myself. I've had better meals in town for 20CHF. At least the fries were okay, also the blueberry muffin for dessert. I was recommended this place but really disappointed. Front of house is being let down by the kitchen.
Decent prices, decent food. My only issue is that the burguer doesn't seem to have met a BBQ grill never in its short life.... They have also good decoration...
This place is great, very friendly staff with really high standard of English. English menu and a big selection of beers. The steaks are very good and the portions are very generous. Try and keep some room for the desserts which are great.
Flamed grilled steak, seasoned just right, veggies still crisp and a very taste baked potato with sour cream which had a spoon to eat it with. Well thought through and accommodating staff. Place is really well designed, plus the background country music is a lovely touch.
Excellent menu and great ambiance
Love this place. Amazing atmosphere and decoration. Probably won't come back because I was just passing through as a tourist, but when you are near, eat there!
