Amazing location. Friendly staff. Although, there are no toilet and shower in the room. But, the public one was pretty clean! Dinner and breakfast was not too bad as well. Recommend everyone to stay here for one night just to enjoy the nature.
Nice large terrace overlooking the oeschinensee. There are many waitresses and the service is fast. We asked for lemonade and were served sprite. They had a nice salad and other small dishes fir lunch. The quality is good but the offerings are quite pricey, although acceptable for a remote mountain location.
At the beginning of the trip it was cloudy and foggy until we arrived at the Oeschinensee. The sun was vanishing the clouds and we got a great view from the restaurant at the lake! The staff is very nice and despite the price, the food was amazing. I can really recommend to go up to the Oeschinensee as you’ll have a great view, good food and nice company!

Very nice scenery from the hotel - bar terrace. After 15mn of cable-car followed by 20mn of almost-flat walk, a beer was a kind of must-do.
Amidst amazing views of the Oeschinensee, its an average place for eating out. It is possible that choices were limited as it was the last day of the season.
Best place to stay if overnighting at Oeschinensee. Simple, comfortable rooms with own wash basin (toilets & showers are shared), friendly and welcoming service, and great food & drinks with a focus on locally grown and produced. Surrounding area is breathtaking, with amazing hikes and rowing on the lake being highlights for us....highly recommended!
