Staff was very helpful and nice. The place is by the water and it is beautiful. The place to camp with the tents is great, it’s located by the water and it’s very flat. There is also a huge swimming pool. The bathrooms and showers are ok.

This is a great place! We were travelling along the Rhine with bikes and stayed on some camp sites, but this one was by far the best. We could built our tent only some meters in distance of the Rhine river. The staff is very friendly, competent and relaxed.

We really liked this place. The location was perfect for us. By the river, but also easy to get to Basel. It was a spontaneous stop and we were right by the bank. The showers were amazing. Powerful and hot (need to get a key for that). The toilets were always clean. The staff friendly, although busy. The pool was bigger than we thought by looking at pictures. It's a 10mins walk to train station, and a 15 mins ride. Nice coffee with croissant for breakfast.

This campground was adequate. My shower was cold, though others in our group had warm showers, those who used the one i did all experienced cold showers. The showers are pretty dated and the camp ground charges for things like WiFi, charging your phones, laundry, etc. Our group of 6 cost us 41 Euro 9 Swiss franc to do 1 load of laundry and charge our devices. They speak great English, but are not at all accommodating. Friendly, but no warmth behind anything. It is what it is. It is along the beautiful River and the swimming pool is huge!

Beautiful camp with a nice river and swimming pool. Cold shower. The staff man was very friendly and helpful but the lady's behavior was below the Swiss norms. At the checkout she didn't accept card payment and asked for the cash with 11 CHF exchange rate in her benefit! When I complained, she sent me to a ATM (10 min. driving) and captured all of our stuff although my family were still inside the camp and my kids were swimming in the pool. Not very kind!

Modest camping by the lake/riverside, \on the site\ of augusta raurica (major roman city ruins). Visited in september. Pros: lake, outdoor swimming pool (shallow yet large bassin), lots of trees and shadow, small camping, 800m walk to train station Kaiseraugst then 15min ride to Basel central station, on the riverside walk. Cons: spartan (yet clean) facilities, cold shower by default (I heard you need a token for warm shower), small pitches, could be a bit cheaper given the value proposition.
