The users log into BUZZY through their Instagram account and start posting memorable BUZZs, photo or video (similar to “Snapchat stories”), in so called KINGDOMs. A KINGDOM can be a country, a city or a university. The user that gets more likes on his/her BUZZ than the rest of the PRETENDERS becomes the KING/QUEEN (see Exhibit 1) of the corresponding KINGDOM, i.e. KING of Boston or QUEEN of Harvard. It is important to mention that a KING/QUEEN can keep its status for maximum 24h in order to ensure an appropriate turnover. Once a PRETENDER gets more like than the respective KING/QUEEN, he/she becomes the new KING/QUEEN. The main menu of the app is a map of the world where all the KINGDOMS with the corresponding KING/QUEEN are displayed (see Exhibits 2, 3 & 4). Thus, the KINGS/QUEENS of BUZZY’s world are highlighted and get maximum exposure. It is important to mention that the KINGS/QUEENS’ Instagram username is displayed on their BUZZ and any user can be redirected to the corresponding Instagram account. Concerning the PRETENDERS, their Instagram username is not displayed on their BUZZs unless a user likes it; the username appears instantly.
