Finally the day has come to dine in Taverne. I always passed by but never in. It was an wonderful experience in fact it’s. WOW . I was impressed with carrot and orange sorbet a small surprise from kitchen. Great collection of wine and Bier Very beautifully made Menu Overall our experience we super.

Quiet and elegant atmosphere with delicate dishes We ordered a veal liver dish and a classic fondue. The liver was served with rosti and apple, very tasty. The fondue, I had to say, was incredibly salty for me.
One of the finest restaurant in interlaken, staff is very friendly and service is fast. Food is amazing, wine collection, beer collection, everything is top notch. Inside and outside sitting areas both are nice and comfortable.

Lovely ambience, amazing service - our waiter was keen to explain our menu and food was delicious. We had the veal stew with rosti, braised pork belly and truffle fondue. Worth the money!
We stayed in Interlaken for more than a week and we dined out every night. Unfortunately we discovered Taverne on our last night, because it's a great restaurant. The food tastes amazing and is presented in a great way as well. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Finally the price/quality is spot on.
Cosy restaurant located in the center of Interlaken. Warm and friendly service. We had a very tasty cheese fondue served with great drinks (especially passion fruit lemonade and home made cocktail). The price is really reasonable for the great service and food we had compared to other restaurants in Interlaken. We highly recommend this place!
I had an excellent dinner last night: the food was very well presented and very tasty and not heavy compared to other restaurants in Interlaken; the staff was nice and made sure we had a good experience. One of the best restaurants in Interlaken !
