Amazing hotel in the most ideal location! Breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very big and clean. The sweets and tea stations were an amazing touch! The building is beautiful. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this to anyone.

Not for kids. Great location. We had a river view suite and it was nice. Restaurant also excellent, be sure to book. Floorboards incredibly creaky, poor check-in experience, room not ready because guest before checked out late. Room was not as clean as we would like.
This is a super cool restaurant by the Rhine Riverside. Food is very tasty and you can get vegetarian option as well. They have bar which serves variety of wine and few beers. Service is nice and prompt. Book your table before you go as it remains quite busy
Hotel Krafft is located in the heart of Basel. There are excellent public transport connections from the vicinity of the hotel to various parts of the city including the main railway station. The airport is only some 15-20 minutes away by cab (about 40-50 Swiss francs). There are pubs, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean. I had a brilliant view of the Rhine and the cathedral from the balcony. The sound-proofing is very efficient and once does not hear anything once the windows are shut. The heating was quite effective. The floors are free of carpets and thus ideal for those with allergies. The wet-room was neat and clean. They do good breakfasts with Swiss and continental food. There are complimentary tea making facilities at the end of each corridor, with stoneware teapots. There is a shoe-shine station adjacent to the lift. Krafft has excellent staff members. Both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. My check-out was in the very early hours of the morning, and yet, I was met with efficiency and offers of cups of coffee, bottles of water and snacks for the road. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Krafft and look forward to returning there for a longer stay.
Quality! We had the Carpaccio, Quinoa salad, Sirloin steak and two desserts! The two meat dishes were outstanding, super tender and full of flavour. The desserts were lovely too! Very kind and helpful staff.
The foods are really delicious, very tasty and presentations were well done. The place is very nice and most importantly, the staffs are all smiles and very warm and accommodating. They also offered treat for the birthday and the table design was also cute. Highly recommended.
The food are very delicious, tasty and 5 course menu had been amazing experience. The table was also made for a birthday as requested and extra treat was also given c/o the house. Place was beautiful with a view of Rhein river. Most importantly the staffs are very friendly, all smiles and makes you comfortable. The price was reasonable and you will get more than what you paid for. It's really an amazing night. I highly recommend this place.
Perched along the Rhine the Kraft is one of the best places to stay in Basel along the River. Really liked the ambiance and the wood floors in each room are a nice touch along with the still and sparkling water stations located on every floor. Extensive number of great restaurants and bars within 1-2 blocks. Would highly recommend spending the extra money on a room with a view of the Rhine.
