Since 2009, Meister AG has been developing biomedical textile braids for customers in the medical field. Our development team tests new materials and develops braided devices from interesting combinations of materials on an ongoing basis. We support our customers from the search for the optimum fibres through to the finished product. As a «trusted specialist» of DSM Biomedical B.V., we have access to first-class raw materials. The materials that we use are high-quality synthetic fibres made from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE/Dyneema Purity ®), polyester (PES), polyetheretherketone (PEEK), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), absorbable polyglycolic acid (PGA), polypropylene (PP) and polyamide (PA). In our braiding technology process, we produce high-precision braids with diameters starting from 04 mm in the shape of fine braid, circular braid, tubular braid and core-cover braid.
