Rooms are average in terms of size, clean and ours had a great view on the lake, which is the highlight of this place (and the only thing that justifys its price tag), cuz it's pretty minimalistic that there's no fans, ventilation, fridge, coffee nor tea. The staff is very friendly, especially at the reception, not so much in the restaurant. Which brings us to the big disappointment, a 15 euro breakfast that's not worth 4 euros, there's only few items and most of them are old and dry (like the ham and the cheese). Really a shame.

Good things first: queen bed (instead of double twin), very modern, clean, good view over the lake. Less good things: very confusing place, it turns out to be also a campus but when you arrive you think you're checking into a hospital. Rooms have no fridge nor airco/fan. Balcony is not private, shared with /- 5 other rooms. Until 21.30 loud music. Breakfast is not standardly included. We slept well, the (hospital) room does provide comfort. But not sure if I would recommend as a go-to hotel.
Clean, modern and covid19 conform.
Located 10 mins walk down the hill from Spiez station. Well, at the beginning me and my wife were thrilled that we gonna stay at this hotel knowing that just across the lake. Yeah it's on the lake, but as the previous mentioned before, this is not a hotel, but more like student/ conference space kinda thing. There is no elevator for some room, hence we need to carry our own luggage up by stairs. No AC as it mentioned, the shower room has no door, so if you showered hot water, the room will be full of vapour. The service is good, and they serves a lot of water on the lobby with fruits. Location's wise, it's beautiful, you can run near the lake and enjoy the sunset there. Can't complain much of this hotel but I think this is an OK hotel with a good price
Friendly staff earns it a star. Otherwise, you should know that this is not a hotel. It is student/conference housing that is doubling as a "hotel". It was extremely noisy well past midnight due to drunk guests. But what can you do? The staff leaves at 9 so you are on your own. Also, there is no a/c, ventilation, or even a fan. Open the window for air and you can listen to drunk hooligans. Fun. No coffee or tea in the room. The room is extremely tiny. Is this Europe or Japan?
Beds are a bit small, no air con but not too expensive and the location is okay.
Excellent service! I do highly recommend this place to anyone! I had a very nice time! Thanks!
Not much service you can find there. Quiet
