So first of all the positives. This building looks over the market Square in Vevey. It doesn't face the lake but you get a sideways view of the lake. Good location. There were 4 of us staying for 2 nights. It is clean and spacious except for the low headroom. The négatives. Well where to start. This is an apartment in a wine growing area so not surprisingly there were plenty of wine glasses. Just a shame there was no cork screw. Ok just unfortunate.... Perhaps the previous guests stole it... along with the frying pan. Then there is the broken toilet seat. And while there is a folding dining table there are no chairs. I brought chairs in from the balcony. Ok so they were wet because it had rained. I hadn't however expected to collapse when I sat on one. In the home of Nestlé it was nice to see a Nespresso machine. Along with capsules. Great except they were capsules for another type of coffee machine and didn't work. A great thing about Vevey is you get free public transport included with your tourist tax. Your hotel is supposed to provide th tickets. No one met us when we arrived and we were not left any of the tickets filled out for us. There were blank ones in the communal hallway but they did not have the required details of our names, hotel name and date so raised eyebrows when we tried to use them. The kitchen is under a sloping ceiling with very low extractor fan over the hob. I am particularly grumpy writing this review because I banged my head numerous times. The bedroom up the steep stairs has a double bed bit the roof level edge or bed is less then 1.5m. very easy to bang your head getting out of bed. Finally we contacted the host for a WiFi code and didn't even get a reply. Overall absolutely shocking for the Price.

great value. nice people. great location. beds a bit hard, but my go-to place when in Vevey.
Really good I was not very sure initially but it finally bowled me over. Could have been better with air conditioning during this time of the year. In the year's to come global warming this will have to be thought off. Just a suggestion.
Rooms are ok but the heating didn't work despite it being 5 degrees outside. Management were trying to help but had no clue how the heating worked and claimed I was he only one being cold. Unhealthy breakfast and unwelcoming cafe/reception. Way too pricey for what you get. Wouldn't go again, more stress than relaxation. No soap in the bathroom
A lot of options for a sandwich, enjoy! They also have a triple-chocolate muffins do not hesitate
Our Charlot Guest 2 nights stay was fabulous. Room had a lovely view of the lac, very clean, room was well designed. We took the breakfast option. Breakfast was served downstairs in the Sandwicheria. Breakfast was basic and good. One or two people working in the Sandwicheria were NOT motivated at all. The lady with the violet hair is a joke, she paints her lips and nails at the entry of the Sandwicheria. The boss of the Sandwicheria must suprise his workers with spontaneous visits from time to time!
Great place to stay. Spacious room and close to train station.
Amazing fresh sandwiches with awesome portions and yummy ingredients. Warm melted cheese, mmm!
