Absolutely the best hotel I ever stayed at. The service is more than excellent. The rooms are amazing. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the staff is more than friendly. At the Alpina Gstaad you are ensured to have the most comfortable stay and best time. The food at the hotel is delicious. Especially the sushi is very tasteful and one of the best I had. All the little details make it the perfect hotel. Can’t wait to visit again!

A true palace. The service is fantastic, and what I really loved about this place is the importance they give to wellness and health. I didn’t expect to find so many delicious and healthy dishes. I did a morning meditation class with Verena and a yoga class as well with her, she is an amazing Yoga instructor! The spa is simply one of the best I’ve been to. There is a salt room, a juice bar with amazing drinks and smoothie bowls option. I was delighted. My experience with Antoniis at the spa was simply one of the best experience I’ve had in my entire life. I did a consultation with him regarding my health in general, and learnt very interesting things which have truly helped me so far, but the absolute best was the chakra healing. He is a true healer. I would go back just to see him again. This hotel truly has it all.

We had our Christmas lunch at the Japanese restaurant at Alpina on Christmas day. The place is amazingly beautiful, decorated with quite a few modern art pieces. The food and service are of high standards. The Japanese food though is not as good as those in Japan, it is likely the best you can get in Switzerland. We had a great time there.

We are very shocked by the behavior of the hotel general manager. We have stayed in many hotels, but what we saw yesterday was first time in our life. Yesterday was my spouse’s birthday and I ordered 3 tables for 4 persons each. We had our family friends with us, three of them children and the youngest 9 years old. Suddenly during our dinner, the general director comes to our table and makes a very harsh and rude warning to this child (who is 9 years old) in the presence of all our guests. Despite of the fact that the child apologizes few times, he does not stop and asks the next question to the child “tell me that I don’t have to make a third warning to you because I already made one yesterday ”. He gave his message in a very angry form to a child in front of all us and we were very surprised. I did not want to argue there as it was birthday night but I stood up and checked our surroundings. I saw that we sat in a separate room as there were many of us and the other only table was in another room, 7-8 meters away from us. Also, there were not so many guests at the hotel because of the covid. I think it is not very pleasant to see this type of attitude from this class of hotel and especially from the management. I understand that kids can be noisy but this is a hotel not a military base. I would like to ask the top management of this hotel if this was the only way to make a message to a kid? Couldn't he have found another way? Did he have to do it so demonstratively and try to ruin the birthday? Did he have to make the kid to be scared of him? Couldn't he come up to me or someone from the adults to tell his opinion? Please note that this doesn’t apply to all the staff members. We were very happy with the restaurant personal and we didn’t get any “warnings” from them.

Exceptional hotel with super-capable staff. The food here is top notch. The rooms are well designed and executed. The views are spectacular. The location is a bit of a long walk into Gstaad but a shuttle is available. Balconies are well designed with very comfortable furniture and soft warm blankets.
