Nice view on the place or in the veranda. Food portion are huge, it’s quite pricy and the quality is just okay (not amazing neither bad). Rösti is huge but under de grilled part, only oily potatoes. Croute was huge with a very thick part of cheese that became very quick a big chewing gum. Maybe it’s like this ? The waitress was nice and funny and talkative at least.
Great fondue and excellent terrasse on both sides of the restaurant.
Nice view overlooking Gruyere meadows from the castle rampart restaurant. Good service, reasonably priced with good ambience for all types of travellers/ visitors.
Excellent location. Good food. Friendly service.
Part of our Gruyere fairytale had to include some Gruyere. We found this cute little cafe and sat outside. Best potato leek soup ever, topped with fresh grated local Gruyere. Finished with a delicious meringue topped with fresh cream. Unbelievable.
Nice view on the main street of Gruyères. Prices were reasonable and we were served very fast. There were a lot of flies. I don’t think they can really do something about it as it was an outdoor terrace.
Food was OK, but nothing special. Not a very cozy atmosphere and a little bit old fashioned. Little bit expensive for what it offers.
