Grilling during winter can be fun... I loved the small park they have and a nice picnic area... Worth visiting during winter

Worst place if you have an accident!! I seriously broke my hand skiing there, they took me to the main station in a snow motorbike. I got not medication until I asked for. They didn't provide any support for the broken bone and ask me to take the train and look for a doctor in the town. I have to do everything by myself. Was kind of a nightmare: Lovely mountains, but If you have an accident you will potentially face: a) Inadequate and old infrastructure b) Personal with basic knowledge to support you c) a long journey by yourself to look for a doctor in a near town (ask for medication, they will not give it to you, even if the bone is visible broken)
Haven i call it ️ Unforgettable time & sight seeing Mind blowing beauty of nature . Shared with you some pics hope you like and plan your visit excluding visiting that nice place , will definitely come back as many times as i can. Wonderful peace of art you can feel it and enjoy the water ; it’s the best you can drink Till next time lovely
This has to be one of the most stunning ski locations in the world. You can access it from either Grindelwald or Wengen and the ski area is also linked to Mürren. Together they have over 220 km of marked pistes and some great off piste too. The season normally runs from early December until late April and you can usually ski down to the villages until the end of the season despite their relatively low altitude.
Heaven on earth. Its a place that comes in between Grindelwald and Jungfrau. There is a train station from where one needs to change train for going up to Jungfrau. Its a good place to hike too. One can reach Kleine Scheidegg through train from Grindelwald and then start the 10 km hike down to Grindelwald. The views are breathtaking. There is snow for first few km (in June) then its all green. Not an easy hike though. One needs hiking shoes and hiking sticks would have been very helpful.( which we missed). We thought that we will pick some wooden stick from grass but the swiz authorities keep their greens so clean that we could not find any. Finally we had to pick sticks from some houses where locals had collected them for burning. If one gets tired ....there are lots of natural places to sit and snack ones own food. There are lots of natural drinking water sources too. Also if one feels too tires then one can board the train from stations which are nearby (its better to have half fare train card). Trains are frequent.
Nice mid-mountain break. Great views.
This area on the slopes is festive. Like a little hight street in the mountains. I bought my postcards from here. Good place to put your bags here and ski / board from here. Lots of slopes go from here. :) Incredible views. One can see the famous North Face.
This is the last train stop before hoarding the Jungfraujoch connection. It's a gorgeous little village and has a scenic overlook of both valleys. I highly recommend stopping for a few moments and taking it in between trains.
