A cool international airport in the midst of an amazing microtec and world famous watchmaking region! Easy to take a short cut, if you have your own jet! Amongst other the home base of the legendary DC3 of Swissair. Based in Grenchen are world renowned watch brands such as Breitling, Fortis and the best industrial mechanical and quartz watch movement manufacturer, ETA.

Regarding a business visit to a nearby company, Sitek. We went to lunch at this airport's restaurant. Very nice meal, in a very beautiful space. I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the place, which provides very beautiful images. Greetings from Portugal.

GA friendly airport with restaurant, hotel and playground. GPS and VOR/DME approaches available. :) Gets a bit expensive though, about 40 per landing.
