Great castle with a rich history located at a lovely location. Nice café with small snacks and parking lot directly in front of the castle (not super large though). Great views, nice stroll throughout the castle with impressions of the past. Great with kids.

Nice place. Good view to the lake. Entrance inside the castle is 10 CHF. Near the castle there is parking place. Old part of the village Glandson also interesting to see. Near old buildings you can find historical information.
The renovation and all those \modern\ touches like an elevator ruined the authenticity of the castle.

Stunning monument of medieval fortification and architecture. Castle was captured by Burgundian Army under Duke Charles the Bold in 1476 and entire garrison, mostly Bernese, was put under the sword to the last man. Castle gave the name to the first Battle of Burgundian War of 1476-1477. There are excellent collections in the castle. Collection of arms and armor is great. Hat decorated by the pearls and belonged to Charles the Bold is stunning. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light and tripod. Highly recommend for all fans of medieval and military history.
