Overall a good experience with this Avis. It is super important to know how to access this Avis as there are 2 Avis rental offices at this airport (one in Switzerland and one in France). Make sure you enter the French access by entering on the NORTH/WEST side of the runway. I’ve included some photos with Mark up to show you how to access is coming from the Swiss side of the country (need to go under the runway by going through the tunnel and then making a U-turn). I’ve marked up with arrows. Notice that the entrance is not conspicuous (the photo with the individual in wheelchair). I’ve even highlighted the route for you in yellow in the last picture! Good luck and safe travels!

Worst designed airport I have ever seen. You can’t access the Swiss side but taking a 35 taxi ride to the same building. Probably the worst airport I’ve used.

No other airport in the world can swallow your time like Geneva airport. I had 1 hour 10 minutes between landing and my train departing. Time to disembark aircraft 15 minutes, bus from plane to passport control 25 minutes, passport control queue 30 minutes, running to train 5 minutes. Missing my train and buying another ticket, 50 swiss francs. Thanks Geneva Airport!

Worst organized airport I have ever seen. Left me stranded on the French side with no way getting to the Swiss side except for a expensive taxi. For some STUPID reason people need to have a boarding pass to go from French to swiss side.

This was one of the slowest and most disorganized airport experiences I’ve ever been through. Long like at check in, security, and passport control. The airport is also old and not particularly clean.
