We absolutely loved our week with localholic! Our host Carla who runs a beautiful café downstairs is also renting a room for two in the house where we stayed for a bit more than a week. It's the perfect place to be a bit outside of the more busy area of Konstanz but still close enough to explore everything by bike (to be rented in Konstanz) or by kayak (to be rented from localholic). You can also rent a canu and SUP there and explore the lake (or Seerhein) which is only a few meters from the house. Carla and her boyfriend are amazing hosts, very caring and friendly, they made us feel very welcome. And the coffee is so good. Thanks Carla! We hope to be back next year. :) Alex & Christina

I went there by accident just searching a coffee in any kind of bar. But it was not any kind of bar and it was more chance than accident. First the owner served me a coffee surprisingly good in this very nice and warming bar, explaining me what are the characteristics of the different coffee they serve. I've discovered they rent kayak it was exactly what I searched in the region and the owner gives me many tips on where to go to enjoy plenty the excursion. And indeed the place is perfect for this kind of activity. After two good surprises at my return I've decided to taste the homemade Ice cream which was also excellent. And finally the owner gave me other tips about place to go during the day. If you go to Gottlieben (and you should) don't hesitate to go to this establishment and get coffee, ice cream or good information about visiting the region.

Nachdem ich letztes Mal einen leckeren Espresso versucht habe, gab es dieses Mal super leckeres Eis. Das kleine Café kann ich absolut empfehlen: Super nettes Personal, es ist mit Liebe und viel Eigenarbeit eingerichtet und definitiv etwas Besonderes! Das war auf jeden Fall nicht mein letzter Besuch!!

Gemütliches Kaffee im Herzen von Gottlieben. Die ruhige, entschleunigende Dorf-Atmosphäre lädt zum Verweilen, Entspannen oder Arbeiten ein. Die Unkompliziertheit und Freundlichkeit der Kaffeebetreiber passt sich perfekt in das Ambiente ein. Der Kaffee sowie die restlichen Getränke und kleinen Speisen überzeugen ebenso auf ganzer Linie. Besonders empfehlenswert ist auch die einzigartige Eisauswahl.
