The Globe of Science and Innovation has been built to help visitors understand what is done at CERN. The wooden structure is 27 meters high and has a diamater of 40 meters. At first, it was the Palais de l'Equilibre at Expo.02 at Neuchâtel and served as a model of sustainable building. Then it was moved to CERN.

The Globe is that awesome building in shape of big ball of wood you see while going or coming from. Meyrin. It's a \showroom\ of the CERN with free exhibitions. Kids allowed (they will. love the mood) but only adult will understand the why and the wherefore. A unique place to visit. Beautiful.
Interesting to learn about all cern does
I loved the displays in this museum. It feels and looks extremely futuristic, and really allows the public to begin questioning reality and the importance of CERN & the LHC.
The Microcosm exposition is another must when visiting CERN. Located across the street from the globe. It is also of easy access from the city center by tram. FREE entrance fee. Videos in different languages explain parts of the exposition, with even a section dedicated to a ormal day for a scientist at CERN\ Highly recommend.
It's amazing. The lighting is brilliant, there are interesting science facts and a relaxed atmosphere. It's amazing
Educational and fun! An amazing amount of information packed into a smallish space. Great into video in English and French that projects across give different screens. Touchscreen info kiosks, prototypes, and models relating to physics and CERN. Highly recommended. Free so you can do it with the whole family. Young children may be overwhelmed or bored within 30 minutes, depending on their interests. Plan accordingly!
It's definitely worth seeing. I can recommend it especially for teens and adults interested in science. There is no point to take small children or someone who don't like science to this museum. You should count about 1.5 to 2.5 house for visiting if you want to study everything.
