This place is superb!! It reminds me of the junction of blue Nile and white Nile even though I haven't been to Nile!

So beautiful. Crystal clear water that's about 10-20 feet deep, and the point where the rivers meet is amazing. Great to see from the top of the bridge too, with beautiful paths along the water!

Great viewpoint to see the mixing of the silty Arve river coming from the French Alps and the clear dark turquoise of the Rhône River coming from Lake Geneva. If you park near the St. George cemetery, it is a short 10 min walk to the viaduct. The viaduct is a bridge for trains with a wide walkway for pedestrians. From here it is about a 20 minute walk to the La Jonction park and the view from the river level.
