La estatua de bronce del famoso filósofo del esclarecimiento y novelista Jean-Jacques Rousseau es obra del escultor James Pradier de Ginebra. En 1835 fue erigida en la Île Rousseau, que recibió este nombre especialmente con motivo de ello.
