Dream Up's aim is to improve the well-being of children and teenagers in developing countries while putting an emphasis on environment and health through education. Our organization wishes to share key values (i.e respect, equity, ...) with the youth as well as specific skills (i.e English) in order to give them better opportunities for the future. Via our volunteering program we aspire to enhance the skills of our young volunteers and offer them a way to stand out in the market place. We make a point of creating sustainable projects, working side by side with the local population. Based on the desires of the population, Dream Up offers extracurricular activities to children and teenagers as part of community centers in developing countries. Young volunteers are recruited to take part in the project and work supervised by a coordinator who coaches them in pedagogy and the social field. Dream Up created a community center in Puerto López, Ecuador, in 2014. Since then, the center offers various activities to the youth such as English lessons, sports, creative activities and workshops to raise awareness of environment and health. Twice a year, volunteers from Switzerland are welcome to join the effort in Ecuador as part of our volunteering program.
