I have been living at Cité for the past 3 months and I can call it home now. The personnel is extremely kind and helpful and I got every problem solved within 1-2 days. The common room has all the services you can think of. A gym, squash courts, study space, chill area and a music room (can be too loud sometimes). The pizzeria inside of Cité is a plus as well. I would defenitely recommend this place for broke students - best quality price accomodation you can find. It is pretty far from everything though, so you need to buy a good bike (steep climb from the city center) or a bus card

I lived there for 3 semesters. Staff has been consistently rude, unfriendly and generally unhelpful. Other than that it offers decent, affordable housing for Geneva standards.

A bit surprised at the negative reviews, but if you know what you're getting in to (clean, affordable housing, and mostly students), it's okay. I'm not a student, I'm a working professional who had to spend several weeks in Geneva, so I'm probably not the target client. Pros: Clean facilities Close to buses / transportation Helpful and friendly staff (really, I didn't experience any of the negativity I read so much about) Cons: Can be noisy (B building), partying neighbors may add to that Shared toilets, showers, fridge, stoves - if you're used to staying in hotel with these in-room (I am) No AC - common for Europe, but still a consideration

I lived there a few years ago 5 stars for the cleaning ladies, very clean 5 stars for the social life, as it is the biggest hub for Geneva universities students, you will build the core of your friends circle for the hardware, if you live in building C and D, 5 stars, if you live in building A and B, 4 stars, building B road side is quite noisy though 4 stars for the neighborhood 2 stars for the staff and organization 1 star for some staff
