Where do I start? When I finally got a chance to take home something from Caliq I forced myself to smell all their scents blindly so as to not be influenced. Many of the scents are inspired by places in the world- a concept I am a huge fan of! So as I blindly sniffed away I came upon a scent that sent me back...way back... and reminded me of such an abstract feeling that only our olfactory sense can trigger. I looked at the name on the bottle with a huge smile on my face, only to not be surprised at all. There it was: BELLA ROMA. Of course. I spent my early adult years in Rome- 8 formative years- so for me this is THE smell of freedom, endless possibilities, hope, late nights that turned into early mornings, youthful optimism, high heels stuck in cobblestones, birds flying high over St Peter’s Square, water gushing out of fountains in Piazza Navona... This candle, in its beautiful packaging that my son couldn’t wait to get into, is the scent of some of the best years of my life. What an experience!
From the packaging to the smells, everything is perfect about Caliq. The candles burn perfectly, and there are smells for every occasion and taste, making it the perfect gift to oneself or to give away! I can only highly recommend them!
Gorgeous packaging and design, the scents are long-lasting and absolutely entrancing. The perfumes are practical for travel and I love the choice of stones! I would very much recommend these products for yourself and for gifts.
Everyone I have given a Caliq candle to has absolutely fallen in love with it and gone on to buy them themselves. The presentation and quality is exquisite and obvious from the moment you see the beautiful reusable presentation box they come in. They also use only the highest quality ingredients to create some very unusual scents. If you are looking for a decadent gift (for yourself or someone else), this is perfect.
