Since COVID, the CCGC has set up a very successful system to answer to high volume of queries done by phone and by email. I have always had a very clear and quick answer during these hard times, especially considering they are swamped with requests. I have to congratulate everyone for the great work and support.

You are better off looking for a job using linkedin, head hunters or any other means. You will waste alot of time here. Not sure if its incompetency of the case administrators or perhaps they simply don't care, or perhaps they have a burn out. I believe there are folks who have been working at this govt establishment for 20 yrs. So go figure. The only people who may, and i repeat MAY get better assistance would be the ones that have worked in switzerland for 2yrs or more without lay offs. If you are a new comer be it through marriage with a swiss or other means, then know that this place is not somewhere you want to seek assistance. The only good thing is the access to their online job database. However, to be able to get access to such a public resource, one has to go through the pain of registering with them, submitting salary slips from the foreign country (USA) and then be linked to a case admin that is less competent than you are. Also, should you require job openinh info, the same information found online is available on premises on their onsite public computers. No registration required. Good luck!
We live in 2018 but this public organization is next to impossible to contact by phone. They do not have e-mail. They do not have a website where you can download forms and communicate with clients in an efficient and quick manner. You can call them but only a few times a week. When you call them during these limited timeslots, you get a voice server, asking you to dial 1 when you are a client, then you will get a pre-recorded voice telling \all the lines are busy please call later\. There is no on hold music or a system telling you your place in the queue, your call is simply CUT OFF and have to dial again the very same number, go through the server, get cut off again. I called 20 times this morning between 09 and 11 AM. Impossible to get through. This is public service in Geneva anno 2018. No kidding. A total disgrace !!!! This is supposed to be Geneva international ?

HONTEUX! Je déconseille cette caisse de chômage ABSOLUMENT ! Depuis 3 mois je suis sans chômage ! et tout ceci pourquoi ? car ils ont oublié de m'envoyer un document que je devais remplir.. forcément si personne n'a fait son travail correctement.... Et nous sommes en Suisse! Suite à ce commentaire j'approuve également tous les commentaires ci-bas. NON-AIMABLE , VOIR IRRESPECTUEUX ! sans parler du reste !
A tout ceux qui veulent prendre contact avec la caisse de chômage, il suffit d'aller sur leur site Web rubrique particulier ensuite vous choisissez le type de demande, vous remplissez le questionnaire concernant vos données, vous envoyer! Et 24 à 48 heures plus tard vous avez un retour!! Tout simplement .
J'ai cotisé pr avoir le droit au chômage. Un contrat nous lie entre l'assuré et la caisse. Je fais tout ce qu'on me demande mais manque de professionalisme de considération de leur part. Je suis dégoûtée et ne fais plus confiance aux institutions
