Went for a business lunch with a colleague. We respectively ordered a lobster sandwich and a fried chicken sandwich. After a long 35 minutes wait (!), the waitress brings a ham and chesse sandwich instead of the fried chicken one. She first tried to deny, saying that this is what my colleague initially ordered… and then ‘’’agreed’’ to bring the correct order ‘’in just a few minutes’’. We waited 25 more minutes before the correct dish arrived (a sandwhich). My colleague obviously refused it saying that he didn’t have any time left to eat. Our astonishment grew even further when we noticed that the waitress didn’t even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. What a disgrace. My colleague went back to work with an empty stomach.

I booked a home delivery with Uber Eats. My pizza with so called “broccoli baresi” was delivered soggy (and who knows what was dropped on the dough).... so, to start with, half of it was dropped directly into the bin. The toppings were dry, the vegetables (supposedly friarielli in a previous life) were actually just stalks and flowers (which you wouldn’t normally eat... but alas no leaves were in sight) and the dough was weird, like wholegrain. Tried to call the restaurant a couple of times: nobody picked the phone up. On a Friday evening at 8 o’clock. Super!
