I went to David for about a year and I cannot stress enough how helpful and understanding he was. He seemed to care about my well being and I always felt he went the extra mile. I highlight recommend him if anyone is looking for an English-speaking therapist here in Geneva.

It's very dangerous to depend wholly on a person like this if you are suffering from psychiatric symptoms, especially depression and anxiety. These are very complicated conditions with many potential causes. That fact that people in this condition find someone like this over the internet, not acting under the auspices of a medical doctor is concerning. Even worse, in my experience this practitioner doesn't even guide patients in the direction of doctors, psychiatrists, endocrinologists etc. Unfortunately, you might have to see more than one because not all of them are well-informed about these conditions. Just keep knocking on doors – don’t give up. Demand every test that exists – one might well reveal your problem. But to just depend on this guy….very dangerous. Regarding the practitioner specifically, I found him to be limited and superficial in his approach. Regretfully, I did not have the knowledge to judge this at the time. He seems to think that everything can be treated with his methods and did not guide me to other possible solutions. Think about it: random people find you over the internet and even though there are probably hundreds of potential causes of what they are suffering, you just go with your method without even exploring alternative diagnosis. He never even told me to have a blood test. Very irresponsible and, frankly, backward. We're in 2020 - this guy operates as if the last 50 years of science just didn't happen. Unfortunately, there are many like him. I finally did find a solution, but wasted a lot of time and endured much unnecessary suffering. At least that was my experience and the results of trusting this person were devastating: years of untold suffering, I ended up losing my livelihood, nearly died etc. Worst thing is it was all totally avoidable. I hope others don't have to go through the same experience.

Great therapist, I have recommended him to friends who have been really happy as well. Unfortunately I saw him only a few times. But he was very helpful.
