10/9/20 When I walked by this place, I saw it wasn't always as crowded as other places in Switzerland. Still, the pictures I saw trigger a memory until I saw a photo from an angle I do remember. The flower arrangements were always a wonder to see when we walked by this site. There was almost always something going on around Lac Leman. My mom told me about the boundary zones between Geneva Switzerland and France are complicated to explain, but the picture I have make it easier to understand. From where Monument Brunswick starts to walking around the whole lake took some time, but I got the chance to do it. I only did it once, but I had fun.

Another cool site in Geneva. Worth a visit while you're enjoying the lake. A good place to stop for a snack as well. There's good seating. I've had many ice cream cones here!

It's a perfect place to see and enjoy the beauty of Lake Geneva. The sidewalk is so clean and if you are lucky, you will get to see the Jet D'eau (water jet) from here. Will be perfect if the weather is good as well.

DOV: 17Aug2016 This is a beautiful place with Brunswick Monument, Lion's statue and a beautiful riverside view. On the riverside you can have a good walk and sit and relax. Its close to Geneva metro station and can come by walking. Photos posted contains spots from train station to the Brunswick monument and riverside too.

The Brunswick Monument is a mausoleum built in 1879 in Geneva. Interesting tomb story. Beautiful view of Lake Geneva. Near the open cafe.

Stumbled upon the monument as I was walking along the lake side. The ornate building got my attention so I had to cross the street to get a closer look. It looked like there was a coffin in the mid layer of the structure. There were also quite a few water features around (but they were all off at the time). It was a really interesting stop especially if you enjoy elaborate carvings.

Great monument, nearby loads of bars. You can chill here if it's a hot day.

By name, it is a tomb. Somehow, it is a public place for short visit. Very visible and eye-catching to passers-by.
