Student Village ETH is a great place to be as an ETH student. You’ve got all the facilities at your doorstep: a supermarket, three cafeterias, a 24/7 store with all kinds of supplies, a couple of cafés. There’s a gym just 3 min walk from the dorms. And the view on the mountains is always nice. Generally, all facilities on Hönggerberg are within 5 min walking distance. If you need to be at the facilities in the city center, then there’s a Bus that starts on Hönggerberg Campus, and brings you directly to the Hauptgebäude (Main Building) in just 15 min (weekdays only). Additionally, there are two other bus lines, which pass through Hönggerberg campus (also weekends).

This place looks awesome. It's like you are living in the future. Some people like to complain about it, but mostly first world problems (\my futuristic electronic window shade is going up to early. What a terrible place to live in!\). Personally, I have never lived more comfortably in my life.

Very Poor Wifi connection, insanely slow and wont let you log in sometimes, and by contract you are not allowed to bring your own. After a petition was made by inhabitants about wifi speed nothing changed - Livit does not care about people here. The flats are so big that cleaning plans often do not work and they stay dirty. The bicycle garage can be opened by hand without a key which is also a minus. It is often very noisy in the night. Furthermore by law you have to pay television tax but there is no cable connection so a TV in the Living room cannot be used without further investment or a laptop to stream. I have lived here for two years and stayed for convenience since you are very close to the campus.

It's very nice... but every year there are 6-10 parties which make noise until 4-5 am... extremely noise and annoying... so be prepared

I have been living here for over a year. Amazing place next to ETH's upper campus l. Spacious common rooms in fully equiped modern appartments. Your stay would include access to a storage area, free laundry rooms, and a common room that can be rented out for birthdays and other special events. would definitely recommend this place to ETH students !
