We stayed here for a night when travelling from Zurich to Geneva... Like most place in Switzerland it has beautiful views overlooking the water with many of the rooms having cozy balconies to lounge on outside... The food was okay...as the name suggest to the cheese fans it's just a hop skip away from the small town of Gruyere.

Basically a no-brainer stop if you're on a sightseeing trip around Switzerland. Has a great view and a good souvenirs (incl. cheese) store.

Panoramic view to the lake with sitting area inside and outside enjoying the view with coffee shop or the upper restaurant really worth it to stop by and relax.
