Had a technician come look at our washing machine at home. It seems to be having a sporadic issue with certain cycles not turning the locking mechanism on. We tried to repeatedly explain to the technician and even showed a video, yet he expected to see a live demo of an edge case PCB issue. Myself having a MS in electrical engineering tried to explain that I debugged the switch and the lock sensor on the door: the issue seems independent of this since it occurred by simply resetting the the power ( and not touching any other components such as the door). Needless to say the incompetent technician suggested that “we weren’t pressing the button properly “ and the door “needed to be closed properly “. Because you know, going to school for 6 years doesn’t qualify me to test these basic assumptions \\_(ツ)_/ . If video proof is not sufficient of an edge case, nothing is. This company is listed by Carouge under their repair coupon initiative. Will try to suggest to the ville to remove this establishment due to gross incompetence / laziness.

J'ai amené mon aspirateur chez CTV en croyant qu'il avait un court-circuit parce qu'il avait plusieurs fois fait sauter les plombs. Ce ne devait pas être ça parce que CTV n'a jamais réussi à reproduire le problème. CTV a mis trois semaines pour me le dire, et encore c'est moi qui ai du l'appeler. Il me dit que c'est normal, et que d'autres clients attendent leur réparation jusqu'à deux mois quand ils faut commander des pièces. Il a refusé de me rembourser l'acompte de 50.- parce qu'il avait \quand même travaillé dessus\.

Les voleurs de Carouge! Je les ai appelés pour réparer ma machine à laver (ce n'était pas urgent). Le technicien est arrivé avec une heure de retard. Il a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de problème avec la machine à laver et il est parti. Il est resté dans mon appartement pendant cinq minutes. Quelques jours plus tard, j'ai reçu une facture surprenante: 56chf pour avoir constate aucun default, 90chf pour le deplacement (1.3 km de chez moi). Trop cher, je ne recommande pas.
