Our favourite swimming pool. Great swimming club for children to learn how to swim (from 4 to 12 years old) and swimming competition club. Club Montreux Natation

Wonderfully maintained and run public pool. This is also the only indoor pool open in summer in the region. Expect very modern facilities, spacious and clean changing areas and very moderate prices. Look out for the fun water slide. Kids will love it.

Nice pool, but water in kids pool is too cold, and slide removes a layer of skin each descent.

Good, friendly staff. The only con is somedays most of the pools are reserved for clubs.

Best indoor pool in Vaud! Also heated to 28 so kids don't freeze immediately (unlike Mon Repos). Modern (unlike Mon Repos). Friendly staff (unlike...) Great diving and the kid pool area has a huge crocodile float that kids love. Slide is a plus too.

Affordable swimming lessons for kids. In Switzerland is hard to combine in the same sentence these three words: kids, affordability, Switzerland. Somehow the “Montreux-Natation” club makes it possible at the Maladaire. The swimming lesson of my five year old daughter is her highlight of the week. I usually buy a ticket and will also swim at the same time. In the end we ride the slide over and over... and over... and over... and over... She can’t get enough... “Please stop sweetie, daddy is tired. Last time was already the last time. Let’s go home now!” Parking is free up to 4 hours, but you need to put the blue parking disc... I tend to forget but there’s a reminder at the door... That reminder would be far more effective at the entrance gate. Swimming caps are not mandatory. At the end of the day the pool gets a bit crowded, as well on Saturday afternoons. On Saturdays they release the crocodile and suddenly everyone goes crazy... Yes, a real inflatable crocodile, drives the kids crazy. He’s called Lecroc because Lacoste is already trademarked. Once I forgot my swimming shorts at home but as I’m not allowed to swim naked like the lucky crocodiles do I had to borrow some sshouldhorts from the lost and found. It’s getting late now, time to shower... Put on my very expensive crocodile leather pants and go home... I guess not all crocodiles are so lucky after all. Unless my pants are... Synthetic leather?! Next time I order from Alibaba need to read the product description more carefully. Crocodiles score again! That’s why they’ve been on earth for millions of years, they aren’t fashion victims like you and me! “Come on sweetie! Let’s go home! It’s not fair to go back to the water slide while daddy is fighting to put his pants on!” Kids and water!

Big indoor pool, with lanes for faster or slower swimmers. Normally open at 25 meters, but some evenings they lower the separation making it 50m.
