Good service, and great experience. Some of the dishes are a bit on the sweet side which is common for Vietnamese dishes but I want to call it out to some who might not be expecting it. I found the Vietnamese crepe to be a bit oily but has some nice flavor.

Really friendly staff, nice location with plenty of outdoor seating in a relatively quiet part of town. Good selection of cool- and warm-weather dishes, Vietnamese, Thai, and general Asian fusion. Nice flavors, though some not as spicy as the same dishes elsewhere. The house iced tea was lovely.
I ordered food delivery from Chez thoa via Smood app. And it was horrible. The spring rolls were all in weird shape, it looked like it was taken out of freezer and went straight to deep fryer. The dumplings were the same that you can buy from supermarket on those ready to eat package. They are identical! I’m sure they did not make the dumplings themselves at this restaurant. The pork noodle has salty flavor, that’s it. No other flavor, some boring salad leaves, no herbs. I have never went to a Vietnamese restaurant in Europe and got disappointed. Some restaurants can be unauthentic, but this one is just bad. The food is worse than a fast food chinese restaurant . Perhaps if I go to the restaurant instead of ordering take away it will be better? If I had known how bad the food taste I would not spend 90 frc on a plain no flavor frozen food meal.

Gopd food but unbelievable slow service. We waited almost 3!! hours for our order, turned out they only had 1 cook, but didn't bother to tell us in advance. Won't come again and would recommend to check the ETA of the food, this 1 cook situation is apparently not a covid outcome or unexpected situation but business as usual.
A delight of an experience! Chez Thoa is worth the detour. Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food, and an incredibly kind staff. When eating at Chez Thoa you feel at home, and know that you will be coming back again and again, each a short stint in a great culinary world.
We truly enjoyed our meal at Chez Thoa last night. This is a family run operation, very friendly, and good food. This was our first time at a Vietnamese restaurant. We will be going back. Jud H.
